Wounded Warrior Program
Wounded Warriors receive enhanced supportive transitional services from MFR Staff. This includes individualized services for wounded warrior and their family, such as: financial counseling, employment assistance, VA benefits and entitlements, and referral to community agencies as needed.
It is the Air Force’s goal to ensure wounded warriors and their families are well-prepared for their reintegration and transition to civilian life. Our enhanced transition assistance program includes the following individualized services :
- Pre-separation counseling
- Financial assessment/preparedness
- Federal/corporate employment assistance
- VA benefits/ Vocational Rehabilitation /DTAP Counseling VA disability claim assistance
